Happy Sunday!
7 years ago, I was working with clients as a holistic nutritionist and meal planning was one of my favorite things to do. It has been so fun doing these for my personal use lately, so I love to be able to share them. This week I wanted to share 3 days of healthy meal ideas : ) When I do any meal planning here is what I personally try and do/be mindful of:
- Balance- protein, carb and fat with each meal
- No gluten (other than good sourdough- we buy ours from a local bakery and it is minimally processed)
- Low dairy. I try to not have a ton of dairy, but I’ve been having more throughout this pregnancy. Listen to your body- generally speaking, dairy like goats milk and sheep milk is easier to digest and more tolerable/gentle on our digestion.
- Mindful about processed foods. I’m the first to admit that convenience sometimes comes first for me, but in general, I try my best to not have a ton of processed foods. However, will you find me making homemade siete style tortillas? No. Haha!
- Always keep healthy sweets around. I love sweets, but I only keep healthy options around otherwise I make bad choices. A few I love are: Hu Kitchen chocolate, frozen chocolate bananas, Goodpop popsicles, Cocomels sea salt caramels. Another great healthier choice that I love are frozen grapes!

Can you provide recipes for some of these? I especially would love to try the oat milk latte
